Front Driver Wheel Bearing Replacement Cost 1981 Chevy 1/2 Ton 4x4 Front Driver Side Axle Grinds In 4 Wheel Drive?

1981 chevy 1/2 ton 4x4 front driver side axle grinds in 4 wheel drive? - front driver wheel bearing replacement cost

My 81 chevy 4x4 front driver's side began to grind, if I made 4 wheels, a year ago. It is a problem, if received on 2 wheels, and recently so bad that all the time 4-wheel, custom, truck or van in the snow before. I checked the center, the fine, custom clip c Furthermore, the groove duty could also be a tree replacement bad year? wheel'm on bad behavior does not occur to see? the middle is very good. I can not get the clip to hold c, and think I can, the center is 1 3 / 4 "and the groove is only 1" in the wheel bearing.

The cities themselves are stupid yet? They were shocked when the trucks were new. I changed the manual centers. This is not expensive.

It seems that the center will not be fully realized. There should be a small hole in the tree in the middle of course. If you do not get to the "c" clip, then the tree must be removed. You can use these with a small screwdriver and insert it into the hole at an angle. Thus, the pin on the side of the axle hole and pull. It can do something, but you can do. Make sure that the clip is available. Blocking the middle and try to rotate the wheel. If the shaft is rotated, it must be good to go. If not, then you may have taken the dogs in the middle and must be replaced.
