What is the best white water rafting destination in San Francisco area? - white water rafting cornwall

I am) looking for a good white-water rafting for the intermediate level in 3 hours or less per unit of San Francisco (not too expensive. Help!

In this time of year, not much. First whitewater season in northern California is late spring when the snow melts in the mountains. Your best bet now is the South Fork American River, the river is the most popular sport in the state and dam has faithfully reported during the year. There are 2 class III shows. It might also be in a position to a middle-American Fork (Class III-IV) or Tuolumne (Class IV +).

If you just started, is the U.S. SF starting point. It is through the mother and the calendar are controlled (see link below) shows that even during the rest of the summer, if so you can act quickly, you suddenly.

Once you have lived, you should make a trip on the Tuolumne River Plan next summer. Lower Tuolumne is a bomb!
